I am honored to be teaching South Carolina History at Moultrie Middle School. I have a deep appreciation for American History and South Carolina’s role within it. I have instructed courses in United States History, AP Human Geography, World History, Psychology, Archaeology, and Historic Preservation.
I live in West Ashley with my husband, my son who is in the fourth grade, and our cat, Cotton. I love to travel and have visited four foreign countries, thirty one states, and D.C. I also had the opportunity to study in Ghana as a Fulbright Scholar. My superpower is baking and decorating cakes.
I hold Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science, a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. In addition to a teaching certificate, I am also certificated for middle and high school administration. I love learning and consider myself to be a life-long student.
